50 Years of Lesbian Art: Sinister Wisdom's Creative Legacies on view at Dyke+ ArtHaus, Philadelphia

One of my cold wax figurative pieces from my numerology series will be in this special exhibition that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Sinister Wisdom, a journal I have contributed work to over the years. For five decades, Sinister Wisdom has been an essential platform for lesbian artists, writers, and activists to share creative work that has often been excluded from mainstream institutions. In marking Sinister Wisdom's 50th anniversary, this exhibition seeks not only to honor the artists who built this legacy, but to inspire future generations and affirm the continuing presence — and necessity — of lesbian art in our collective cultural life.
