One of my cold wax figurative pieces, ‘Many rivers to cross, but, I can’t seem to find my way over …’ –Jimmy Cliff, is in the Fractures and Repair exhibit at the Thornback Gallery in Greenville, South Carolina. This is their Second Annual Juried Exhibition, celebrating outstanding contemporary artwork across all media. The gallery beautifully describes the Fractures and Repair exhibit as an “exploration of cycles of rupture and renewal—how individuals and communities respond to harm, navigate conflict, and engage in acts of healing and reconstruction. This theme invites work that reflects on personal or collective struggle, transformation, and resilience.” Find out more about the show here. The show will be up until February 15th.
