One of my papier mâché bowls will be in the 2025 National Juried Exhibition hosted by Wilson Arts at the Truist Event Gallery in Wilson, North Carolina. These bowls are made of papier mâché, at least 8-10 layers of paper soaked with wallpaper paste. Then there are layers of colored tissue, paint, pen and ink. Layers of emotion, layers of memory and dreams. Layers that are hidden and secret, brave or wild. Layers that are always variegated, always colorful.
