Three of my cold wax figurative pieces will be in the juried exhibit titled 31 Women at the Suffolk Art Gallery in Virginia. This art exhibition will feature 31 female artists and their most current pieces. This show was first organized by Peggy Guggenheim in 1943. The Suffolk’s version of 31 Women aims to feature work by 31 of the most innovative women creating art in the Mid-Atlantic today. They are welcoming artists working in a diverse range of media who are breaking new ground in their approach to form, content, and ideas. I love that the exhibition will highlight the talent of women artists. The show opens May 17th with an opening reception between 5pm and 7pm. The show will stay up until June 13th.
