Fluid Patterns: Water and Climate Change 2025 Open Juried Exhibition!

  • 133 East Main Street Riverhead, NY, 11901 United States (map)

One of my cold wax abstracts from the W. K. Krueger series is in the show titled Fluid Patterns: Water and Climate Change 2025 Open Juried Exhibition hosted by East End Arts Council with Jurors Marta Baumiller and Rainer Gross in Riverhead, New York. This show examines water as both a vital resource and a force of disruption—through flood, drought, rising seas, and shifting weather.  The exhibit focuses on “how patterns—natural, visual, ephemeral or symbolic—emerge from water’s behavior and our relationship to it.  How do artists see, feel, or trace these patterns—and what do they reveal?” Find out more about the show here. The show will be up until December 13th.

‘The river opened up again in a smooth, broad flow. Overhead, a brown hawk rode the thermals along the canyon walls, easy as a dream against the sapphire blue sky.’ -Boundary Waters, William Kent Krueger
